Lab report #1:  Improving the Bass model’s search traffic and macroeconomic data

In the article the researcher known as Frank Bass has conducted an experiment known as the Bass experiment. This experiment is created by the use of differential equations to show the use of new products of how they can get adopted in the population. This experiment can be proven that the use of new products are being used effectively by the majority of the population. Before releasing new products in the market, first the Bass experiment is being tested to see how the product will be valuable to the people. Then they find out different marketing strategies  to see how it will serve a purpose. After that the Bass experiment will be used to modify the amount of people in the population using the product and how fast people can get adopted to using it. This is a strategy to see the stats of how people can quickly get use to their products, so that they can implement the same strategy for their new products on the market.

Lab Report #2: Impact of Free sampling on Product Diffusion based on Bass Model

In this Lab report the analysis shows the “pricing strategies including fixed pricing, penetration pricing and skimming pricing to explore the effect of free sampling mechanism to product diffusion for more effective utilization of free sampling. Then, we derive the quantity, opportunity and effect of free sampling”. This is a line from the article stating that the use of this product is to show the different pricing strategies that companies use for their products and by the use of Bass diffusion companies can tell how many people are buying their products based on the pricing. The statement also says that the pricing sample is being tested to see if people are buying the products, and the more products they buy. Then the company can determine that this strategy is a way to encourage more people to buying their products and sell them in the market.

Title

Titles are always the key to know what the Lab report is about. When the reader reads the Lab report, they will have an idea of what they are reading. This will give the audience an idea of the topic they are thinking of in both the Lab report. In the Lab report the Titles are long and wordy. There are words that’s been used in the Title which are hard for the audience to understand. But after they look up the words, it will give them an idea of how the word relates to the rest of the Sentence. The Title will be very helpful to them and it will bring their interest to read the article even more.  The reader will also get the idea of the experiment that has been done by reading the article and it will give them the knowledge of how the experiment works for marketing and selling their products.

Abstract

The abstract in both the Lab report has been done through the experiment of the Bass diffusion. In the First Lab report they talk about the use of the Bass diffusion experiment that has been done to see how people adapt to the product that is new to the Market. Then in the second Lab report they Test the free product sample to see how it rises in the market. Both of the Lab reports are related to test and see. 

Introduction

The introduction introduces the audience to the experiments that’s been done. The introduction also helps the audience understand how the experiment will be done by the researchers. In Lab report 1 the introduction also introduces the method of the Bass Diffusion experiment to the audience. The Bass diffusion also Product sales forecast is required for sales, financial accounting, production, procurement and logistics transportation, which is an indispensable part of an enterprise. For example, a large chemical plant may need an 18-month planning period to sign a new train contract to produce transportation products. The  Lab report 2 also introduces the audience that samples are being tested before selling them to the market. It also introduces that the society with economic globalization, transparent information and fierce competition, market success depends on effective marketing strategy for promotion as well as the real products matching with customer tastes and market requirements.

Materials and Methods

The material and methods introduce the technique behind the Companies using their strategy to Sell the products and how people will value their company. The companies want their customers to buy their products so their method is to use more samples to test out and see which one people will like the most. In Lab report 1 and 2, the materials that are being used are the products that are sold to the market and the methods are the Bass diffusion that is being used by differential equations to see the stats of how people are buying and selling the companies products.

Results

The results according to the article shows the experiments done by the researchers are based on real experiments. As the products are going to be sold on the market. They first conduct the free sample tests to see whether people like their product or not. Then the results of the  sample came out as people started to take the product more when it’s been given for free. Then after they started to sell the product with money some people didn’t show interest in buying it. Which shows the difference between people wanting to spend money and getting something for free. This experiment was later done by the Bass diffusion method to actually test out if people are adapting to getting the actual product with money or not. 

Conclusion

In the end of the Lab report, the research from the article shows that the product was a successful business for the company. The Bass Diffusion method also had an impact on the product experiment to see whether more people were adapting to buying the product or not. This helped the company to increase their product manufacturing more because the companies now had an idea of how they will be able to do marketing in the real world and get people used to buying their products in many ways. Such as doing advertisements, sponsoring the product and promoting it to the people. These are some of the ways to implement people to get their products.
