The purpose of Airpods

Airpods are commonly known as wireless earphones that are used to listen to music, videos, etc. Airpods are mainly designed to attach with ears, so that people can connect it to their device and listen to the audio. This mainly keeps distraction from others and no one will be disrupted around that person. Airpods are mostly made for Apple devices. When Airpods first came out, they were only made for IOS; however, later on as time went by and in the most recent generations, Apple decided to make Airpods available for other devices, such as Androids and Google Pixel. The airpods also come with a case where you can keep your airpods and charge them. The case is like a portable charger that needs to be charged with the Apple chargers.

History of the Airpods

The Airpods were first made on September 7,2016 by a group of Engineers, Product managers and Apple designers. The project was led by Jon Rubinstein and this was done collaboratively. The purpose for this project was to invent a special type of earphone only for IOS users.  Later on in time the Airpods pro and the Airpods Max were invented. This was also done by the same group of Engineers and product managers. Within two years the Aipods has become Apple’s most accessory and successful device. The Airpods pro were mainly designed for comfortable and stable use for the user. The case of the Airpod max can hold up to 30 hours of charges. While the purpose of the Airpod max are over ear headphones. One thing that both the Airpods max and Airpods pro have in common is that they both have noise cancellation and it was designed later on by the collaboration team.

The Airpods and How they Function with bluetooth

The Airpods’ functions from the inside and it works through bluetooth. Inside the Airpods are the bluetooth sensor. The sensor is a metal which is called a skin detector sensor. This skin detector sensor is always active whenever the Airpod is always inside the case. So when the Airpods are taken out of the case the skin detector sensor gets activated. After it gets activated, there is another sensor called the motion detector sensor. What it does is that the motion detector sensor is in every phone that requires bluetooth. Motion detector sensor is a type of sensor that every bluetooth device has. So if a person is trying to connect their device with the airpods, then their motion detector sensor will detect the motion detector sensor of the airpods. After the motion detector sensor gets the signal, it detects the skin detector sensor and that’s when the airpod is connected with the device.   

How to put the Airpods in pairing mode

When the user is using their device and trying to connect an Airpod, in pairing mode in order to link them to a device.  The process of connecting the Airpod can be discovered in the device and it will show up in their bluetooth pairing to connect with their device, enabling it to find and connect to them. This allows the Airpod to make a sound from the skin detector sensor to make the user alert that it’s connected and ready to use. To send and receive data between the Airpod and the device, the bluetooth inside them uses radio waves. The Airpods have an antenna integrated right into them, allowing wireless data transmission and reception.

The Airpod Case and how its designed

The Airpod case is a portable charging case that is used to hold the Airpods and activate them when they are in need. The Airpod case is portable and fits easily in a pocket or purse. The Airpod case is useful for the user and they can carry it anywhere especially when it comes to traveling or going to work etc. When the Airpod case is not in use the Airpods are protected inside the case. Meanwhile they’re inside the case the Airpod functions as a charging station. The case has a battery that can recharge the Airpods up to 30 hours in a day. This shows that users can use their Airpods for a number of hours before having to plug them in for charging. The Airpod case is a smaller rectangular shape case that is designed to hold both the Airpods side to side. Although the Airpod case can come into various other designs, the most common shape of it all is the rectangular shape, and it’s made that way to fit the Airpods into them perfectly.
